Max Gold Limited was founded late March 2026. I acquired the domain, moneymaxgold.com, over a decade ago and the idea developed in my mind for as long. I finally found time to build the site and put the plan into action.
My journey with the markets spans more than 30 years. During that time, I’ve traded futures, the S&P and Nasdaq for 11 years. I still trade with a small account. I’ve made my share of expensive mistakes and gained valuable insights.
Trading isn’t just about the markets — it requires a deep dive into what’s happening around you and who you truly are.
Before the markets, my working life began as a jeweller working with gold and silver. That evolved into silversmithing and the creation of functional art pieces. My work was exhibited and sold at Bonhams, and I went on to design for prestigious Italian and British companies. Several of my designs now sit in museum collections — a testament to the years of craft, precision, and refinement I poured into every project.
I was a buy-to-let landlord for over 30 years. It started organically and grew into a modest portfolio. I was glad to let it all go. Any fool can buy property and rent it out; many do. Throughout it all, I maintained a deep passion for solo travel to culturally rich destinations — journeys that broadened my perspective and heightened my senses.
I have a depth of experience and earned insights on, trading, design, property and a lifelong curiosity about people, markets and culture. None of it came easily.
