Max Gold Ltd

Max Gold Ltd was founded in late March 2026, born from an idea I’ve carried for several years, to share my real-life experiences openly and honestly.

I’ve had the domain for a long time, but now felt like the right moment to finally build the site and start writing. At 70 years old I’ve been interested in stocks and shares for over 30 years and trading S&P 500 and Nasdaq for well over 10.  I work as a salesman helping people make choices that improve their lives. After many years focused on the S&P and Nasdaq, I’ve made my share of costly mistakes — and through them, gained valuable lessons in both trading and self-understanding. 

But my journey goes much further back. Life began as a jeweller, hand-making gold and silver pieces. This evolved into silversmithing, and I’m pleased to say that some of my silverware has been sold at Bonhams. The design process fascinated me and led me into luminaire design, furniture, tableware, and home décor. Some of my designs are held in museum collections.

I also spent over 30 years as a buy-to-let landlord. It wasn’t a passion project — it simply happened — almost anyone can buy property and rent it out.

There’s a lot going on, trading, investing, design, property, personal growth and the many lessons that come with a full life — and I’m still learning every day.
